The most difficult sessions for me are the ones where pets are killed by wildlife predators. Please read....

Please beware if you live in an area where there is wildlife; such as, Coyotes, Mountain Lions, Hawks, Owls, etc......

This message is geared more towards medium to small pets; however, still beware if you have large dogs.

I just got done working with a lovely family. Their poodle was taken out of their yard in a matter of seconds.
They only let the dog out to go potty and then he comes right back in the house. Not this time.
They heard the dog bark and then no sigh of him. I got a coyote took him.  Coyotes, and other wildlife can go over high fences so don't think that your yard is safe if you have a high fence. Also, birds of prey can easily take a small animal.

My suggestionDO NOT LEAVE YOUR ANIMALS UNATTENDED IN YOUR YARD AT ALL IF YOU LIVE IN AN AREA WHERE THEIR IS WILDLIFE PREDATORS!

Even if it's during the day, your pet can still be a victim.

When we put all our happiness in others.........

When we put all our happiness in others, we burden them. When we take on responsibility for others, then we limit them.

Father's Deserve To Be Treasured Too!

Father's Deserve To Be Treasured Too!

To those of you who have a father in your life; whether he is biological, stepfather, uncle, dear friend or mentor, please take the opportunity to let him know how much you appreciate him. Thank him for being consistent in your life, for being supportive,  a good provider, a protector,  loving, and encouraging, among many other things. Often, we do think more of mother's being nurturing and loving, but many times father's are more reserved, and silent with their feelings, emotions and even their concerns.  Sometimes they can even lash out, out of worry or fear for their child, but most father's would give their life and all they have for their families.   They can be larger than life to the child, intimidating, tough, insensitive, unemotional at times.  Just remember, there's  a tender heart that beats inside of them, that needs loving too.  Let them know how important they are to YOU! and How much you love them!

Keep in mind how fortunate you are to have a father; even though, they may not be perfect. I guarantee they are not perfect since none of us are.  Many of us, don't have the opportunity to really have a relationship with our fathers or they are no longer here.

We don't need a holiday to remind us, it's time to show your appreciate or love for those important in our lives!

Cheers to all you wonderful fathers out there!!!

Emotionally Cold vs. No Guilt!

Emotionally Cold vs. No Guilt!

A client that receives healing from me, mentioned today,  that she questioned herself because it was so easy to emotionally disconnect from a boyfriend that she had been involved with for several years. When she ended the relationship, she cut it clean and focused her attention on what she needed to do for herself.

She was receiving hypnoses and then started coming for healing for additional support in clearing emotions and blockages so that she could get emotionally centered and focused on what she needs to progress in life.

My observation from our conversation which we discussed;  I found it interesting and enlightening  that we have a hard time letting go of someone or something that we know isn't good for us and feeling okay with the decision. As if, we should feel guilty that we aren't feeling guilty.  It's that old emotion tugging at the heart. When in fact, the best way to let go of something or someone is by detaching lovingly and trusting and feeling a completeness within ourselves that we have made the correct decision.  The completeness comes from knowing I did the right thing.  It's an unconditional love for ourselves and it's honoring ourselves by taking care of us.

A Mother's Love Never Ends

Today while doing healing with a client who recently lost her brother, this message came to me. "I was there to support him coming in to the world and I was with him when he was leaving."

My clients mother came though today in spirit to support her daughter though the healing process.  A mother's love never ends.

Stop making excuses, get your pets spayed and neutered!

I am so tired of the inconsiderate and irresponsible pet owners that are to damn lazy or supposedly busy or don't have the money to get their pets spayed or neutered!

Then! after your pet gets pregnant because of your lack of responsibility, your carelessness and lack of consideration for your pets welfare and it's offspring, you want to dump the physical and financial responsibility,  and burden onto someone else... OR  better yet,  just take them to the animal shelter, sure why not.....

STOP MAKING EXCUSES!!!

If you don't have $$$$ there are organizations that you can get your pet spayed and neutered for Free. The shelters will give out vouchers to get your pet spayed and neutered at a discount or for free.
Get off your lazy ass and take  responsibility!
Stop using the excuse "I'm so busy, I don't have time." YOU owe to your pet and the 8 million dogs and cats that are being killed in the shelters every year!  That's not including other pets; such as,  rabbits, pet rats etc.....

You  have the time, you make the time!  That's called being a responsible and caring pet owner!

And how dare you, be so inconsiderate, that you want others to take on your responsibilities!

I'm done!!!!

Death Arrow Fire Ceremony

The Death Arrow Fire Ceremony is a power ceremony used to release what no longer serves you and makes room for the visions and energy of what you want to become, experience and achieve.

Each of us will create a Death Arrow along with a list of things we want to release and let go of by burning it in a ceremonial fire.

Fire has been a powerful element used in rituals and ceremonies to transform situations and energies.

Releasing these things will allow us to move into our potential and make it our reality.  When we place items in a fire during the ceremony, we release it to Spirit.

How It Works:
Using a small wooden stick you will wrap yarn, fabric or ribbon that represents what you want to release. Once you set your intentions you will place your stick into the fire and use the smoke from the fire to clear the energy and create space within for what you want to manifest.

DATE: Wednesday July, 9th
TIME: 7:00pm
PLACE: Glendale, CA
COST: $20.00 in advance by June 30th. and $25.00 at the door
RSVP: Please RSVP as space is limited.

What to Bring:
A stick 12-14” in length - try to find your stick (tree branch works great) please do not purchase one. Sandy will have extra sticks available.

Make a list of what you want to let go and release - The list can be as long as you like. With this list you will be making a promise and a commitment to release everything that has been holding you back: beliefs about yourself, fears, insecurities, doubts, procrastination, reasons and excuses for your lack of commitment, to yourself, career, family, financial abundance, etc.
You will release people, situations and environments that have held you back.

The goal is to create a space, a consciousness, a new reality to empower you and bring you into a flow of prosperity, balance, peace and contentment on this journey that you have created.

Bring a drum or rattle if you have one. Other necessary materials will be provided at the ceremony. Instruments help to raise the vibration, invoke the energy of spirit, transforms energy. The instruments will be used at the time of the actual fire ceremony.

Please contact Sandy if you have any questions or would like to register.

Taking a Leap of Faith

I have an old friend that doesn't want to change, to grow to meet the demands of her life and environment.  She's stuck on a reality that doesn't exist. She stays miserable in the process of trying to fight progression and holding up a false foundation.

We have choices, we may not always like them, but the world and others are going to evolve whether we do or not. The choices are  generally far better than what we can imagine. Our  imagination is limited to only what we know or what we can conceive; therefore, it's hard to envision the magnificence that is available to each of  us.

It's so easy to only hold on to what we've already known. The hardest part is always taking the initial leap.  That leap of faith that life may be different but it can also be better than we've ever imagined.

Life! We can jump on board and ride it the best we can or be stuck, fearful, angry, stagnant and miserable.

Thank God, we have choices.

Found Injured Pigeon in Toluca Lake

Injured homing pigeon found in Toluca Lake

Update and intuitive information on injured bird.

What I received INTUITIVELY  from this guy.

I felt injury to the chest area. A heaviness in breast bone or chest cavity, above the ribs.
I got possibly torn ligaments in the pectoral muscles or a strain on the pectoral muscles Update and intuitive information on injured bird.

What I received INTUITIVELY  from this guy.

I felt injury to the chest area. A heaviness in breast bone or chest cavity, above the ribs.
I got possibly torn ligaments in the pectoral muscles or a strain on the pectoral muscles that caused debilitation in the wings so that he can not fly.  (I don't know if the inability to fly is permanent of temporary.)

This makes sense to me, if there is an injuring to the pectoral muscles that would create pain and weakness in any movement of the wings,  it would effect the little guy in hopping or walking rapidly since he would be extending his wing muscles, even the slightest, in any type of physical movement.

PLEASE NOTE:
I DON'T  KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THE ANATOMY AND PHYSIOLOGY OF A BIRD. THE INFORMATION I PROVIDED IS BASED ON WHAT I PICKED UP PSYCHICALLY.
THE INTERPRETATIONS ARE BASED ON THE IMPRESSIONS I RECEIVED FROM THE BIRD.

UPDATE FROM VETS OFFICE:
As of this morning---
the pigeon is still eating and drinking good.
The vet is giving subcutaneous fluids and keeping him in an incubator.
The vet is suppose to call me today with an update.

I did contact the owner but he has not made an effort to contact vets office yet.
If the owner doesn't come though for his bird then the bird, depending on the outcome will be released to me and I will need to find him a home.

This is premature but if anyone thinks they may be interested in providing a good home for this guy, if it's necessary, please contact me.

Update on injured pigeon.
I believe we found the owner if it's the person the pigeon is registered to. They have not contacted me yet.
I took the bird to Dr. Attila Molnar, All Animals Veterinary Hospital in Calabasas
The bird can not fly and there's no diagnosis yet.

Injured Pigeon!
I found an injured pigeon in Toluca Lake at 6:15 this evening. It's a homing pigeon. It has a green band on one leg and a blue band on the other leg.
I can't see anything physically wrong with him but I need to find a rescue that will take him.
He can take little steps but can't walk fast nor can he land on his feet.
I can take him to the
California Wildlife Center but I would love to have a place close to Glendale.
If anyone knows of a location please let me know.
In the mean time please pray that this little guy is okay.

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy
 Mother's Day!

Being a mother is the gift that keeps giving. Our love
for our children is endless, along with the desire to provide and comfort them.

No matter how old our children get, they are still our children.
We live for them, we would be willing to die for them, and
God help anyone that would try and harm them.

Being a mother is an honor, the sweetest reward and gift we can
receive. Motherhood is a miracle, and literally the  greatest experience we will have in our lives.

I am deeply blessed for my children. I imagine my mother
still thinks of me and my siblings, as I do my children.

To all beautiful Mothers, my wish is that you are blessed with:  laughter, fond memories, and simple joys. May you experience feelings of contentment, in the wonderful lives that you’ve created, as you nurture, and love beyond belief.

Thought for the day

Learn to not argue a point.
It's non productive for you, if the other party(s) are not listening.

While channeling for a couple,

I did my best to get both parties to see the root of their issue with money which created tremendous frustration in their marriage.

It was to no avail so I let it go.

Affirmation for making the right choice

Making the Right Choice

A client is going nuts trying to figure out if she should stay with her boyfriend or let him go.
I gave her intuitively the information that I received which she needs to digest.  But it's still eating at her.
To put her mind at ease, I suggested an affirmation that would help her trust and know that she will make the right choice for herself; as well, as for him.

This is a great affirmation for anyone stuck and not sure of which way to go.

Affirmation:
"I always make the right decision at the right time."

After saying the affirmation, let the issue go!
Don't keep mulling over it, release it!

The answer will clearly reveal itself  WHEN you're ready.

If the issue persists, repeat affirmation as often as you need and be PATIENT. The solution always reveals itself one way or another.

What are you choosing to focus on?

Apropos for a client today that was caught up in family issues that became her omen.

Affirmation: Today I choose to let go of those things that I have no control over and focus on the things that I do!

And, if, should've, and but, have no place in my vocabulary today!

Listen with your eyes not your ears

Common message in today's sessions...

"Actions speak louder than words." Pay close attention to the actions of others and not what they say. The truth about a man or woman is what they do, how they treat you and not in what they would like you to believe!

This is a fact that is most difficult for many of us to comprehend!
If we can get our "feelings" out of the picture then we are clear to see the truth of a man or of a situation.

Many people that come to me know in their gut (their intuition) the reality of a situation but they don't want to see it or they don't want to take action because of fear.

affirmation:

I'm always open and clear to see the truth in all situations and I let that truth guide me in the actions that I take and the choices that I make.

Healing and Transformation happens at the degree that one is open to receiving.

Healing and Transformation                                        can be a major shift or incremental  and that would depend on how receptive one is to receiving their good or their healing. Another component of the healing process,  is learning whatever lesson is needed to move past the situation or experience.

Fear is a major factor in letting go and being receptive to change or healing.
Laziness, Lack of Responsibility, and Victim-hood  can be other reasons for not being open to healing or positive change in ones life but that we will discuss at another time.

When I work with an individual as a psychic, healer or medium, I always ask them to be receptive to receiving all that they can from our session. This opens them up without resistance to the information or healing that is for their highest good.

It's easy to stay stick in fear of the unknown but if one is proactive in moving above the fear (of change) then the individual will gain that much more from their session.

I've had clients come to me that were in an accident and they want me to do healing but they don't want complete healing of a physical condition or an emotional condition that was created from the accident.  The reason they don't want complete healing, they have a lawsuit...Money, Settlement!  And that's okay!  They are going to receive whatever they are willing to put into their healing.

Affirmation to assist in receiving

"I'm open and receptive to letting go of that which no longer serves me and I'm open to  receiving that which is for my highest good here and now."

Capacity To Love

When working with a client today this is what came up in regards to interactions with his father.

My client always felt isolated, unloved and abnormal, and being extremely sensitive and empathetic internalized his father's harsh temperament toward him as, "I'm not deserving of love and something is wrong with me."  When doing healing work with him, it was apparent that from the age of 4 he was consciously aware that his father was indifferent toward him. This created an uncertainty, which lead to low self-esteem and trust issues that he carried into every experience and relationship he has had.

"People give of themselves only at the capacity they are able to truly receive."

A WHOLE NEW LIFE

creating positive memories from change....

I just had lunch with a dear friend. His whole world is upside down, lots of changes.
From people making a transition and assisting them and their families in the process, including help with their pets.

He and his wife sold their businesses and are getting ready to sell their house and move to
Northern California to be close to their daughter that has had to deal with a significant health issue.

I was so impressed with how well he was embracing change,  being in the moment, for the moment.  Being very aware that at any second that his whole world could change by a mere phone call from his daughter or  one of the people in his life that is in hospice.

He told me, "you know, I can't do anything about the transitions that are taking place, so I have to make the best of it."  He had sparkling brown eyes and this beautiful boyish smile that lit up his face as he was sharing this with me.

Not once did he say... "Why me? Why my child? Why is my friend passing at such a young age?"   In every scenario that he shared with me today, he took snapshots of humor to make something that was hard to deal with or unbearable, bearable and heartwarming;
creating positive memories he will hold forever.

Not only that, he and his wife are embracing this change, relocation, taking time off of work as they create a new life for themselves as an adventure, starting over. Not rebuilding their lives,  Rebuilding is taking something that has be broken and reconstructing it
No, they are making a WHOLE NEW LIFE FOR THEMSELVES.

I am so honored to be a part of this persons life! He is an inspiration beyond belief!
I am in deep gratitude for how blessed I am to have someone like this guy teach me how to embrace TRANSITION AND RESPONSIBILITY!
And to do it graciously!

Just relax and let yourself not be perfect

just relax and let yourself not be perfect

You don't need everything to be prefect in your life to accomplish your goals.....
Change comes from being uncomfortable in your own skin, fearful, sensitive, and rigid.

Allow your life to be a little unorganized or maybe cluttered, and it will help you learn to except change. Be more flexible and flow with what is put in front of you.
I had a spiritual teacher tell me one time to intentionally do something opposite of how I would normally do it so I can learn to shift my routine. Be flexible to change.
What I did, because it would drive me nuts, I would put the toilet paper roll on the opposite direction. I did it for a while until it didn't eat at me any longer. Now once in awhile when I'm in a hurry, I find that I put the toilet paper roll on backwards and I won't change it!

transformation is  taking one step at a time.

Focus for Today

Focus on only the good things people have done today.
Usually there is a pattern to the readings or healings I do in one day.
Yesterday's subject "disappointment in others"

Disappointment in others and the hurt and anger caused is created by not having one's expectations met.

Many of you have heard me say... I believe that there are a lot of good  people in this world.
Yes, there is always going to be useless, selfish, rotten people in this world. Everyone has experienced hurt and been let down by someone we've cared for.

Hear this...

If you focus on the people that have burned you or abused you, you will keep attracting the same situations and the same type of people. This is the energy you are putting out.
Like attracts like.  We are channeling the same energy to reproduce the same result and the more focus and energy we put into something, the more power we feed it.
In other words, the universe lovingly creates the one thing we don't want since that is our belief and focus.

I use the word focus  loosely.. .
One doesn't have to focus on a particular thing all the time, but if it is part of your core belief system (fixed)  that you get screwed over all the time or that people are rotten,  then it is a priority belief that is inherent in your subconscious which will inevitably
create your reality.
This is the  "Law of Attraction."
"What you sow you reap."

Today look for the best in people. It's so easy to focus on the negative.

Intentionally seek out wonderful attributes and good will in those around you!

Prayer should flow from the heart.

When praying, don't worry about using the right words. Speak from the heart, it will guide you. What you feel makes the impact, not what you say.

Several people have told me lately,  "I don't know if I'm praying right." or  "I don't know how or what words to use."  Praying should be simple, effortless and flow from the heart.

Sometimes just a visual impression is all that's needed. In fact, I will many times just envision someone in a burst of white light. That to me means they are in Gods hands or they are in divine light.  Knowing they are protected and under the guidance of God is all that matters in some cases and it's all that's needed.

We don't even need to speak words to pray. Our connection with Spirit, God or the Universe is that direct.

One last thought...
When you give something or someone to God then leave it. Don't keep taking it back because then you are interfering and not trusting.

Every time you think about it or the person, tell yourself "I gave it to God, it's in his care."

...then let go and trust.

No judgment, just write!!!

Writing is a great source of therapy, expression of creativity and expansion of consciousness and opening one up to their own intuitiveness.

Answers which we are seeking, we can find within ourselves by expressions from deep with in our own consciousness which I also believe is our God self or our higher self.

Writing, is a creative art that allows us to create a colorful masterpiece through thought, feeling and expression that flows into a paradigm of perfect creation.

Sharing your thoughts, knowledge, dreams, fantasies, experiences and beliefs are insightful and helpful to others life experiences or their desired journey or even providing humor, maybe even inspiration to another's experience.

I've heard many, including myself say.... say that they are not qualified, good enough, or simply they don't have anything to offer which is sad and untrue. We all have a voice, we all have individual life experiences, and a unique personally that creates a different frame work to our own creations.

Lastly, intelligence has nothing to do with writing. I've known people that haven't

finished junior or high school that are phenomenal expressive writers; in fact, I'm  envious of them. The proper syntax, punctuation, and spelling has ALWAYS been extremely difficult for me and I have a tendency to be all over the paper when I write, so I have to really focus to organize my thoughts. Regardless, the journey for me is therapeutic, inspirational, educational and enriching.

Is fighting ever justified?

I'm opposed to physical altercations to solve problems but sometimes one feels that they have no other choice. Can fighting have a positive effect on ones spirit?  Let me make myself clear,  I would never encourage one to use violence to handle a dispute.

While setting up a session with a new client today, she shared with me an incident earlier in  her life where she was being bullied by another girl in her school, when she was in 9th grade.

She reported to the counseling office that she was being bullied, but the counseling office didn't take action to stop the taunting by the other student. The recipient of the abuse decided, even through she was afraid, to stand up to the girl and that it was time.  She confronted her oppressor, and they had a physical altercation which in turn, ended the bullying.
In this particular situation, Intuitively, when talking with this gal,  I got that this was an extremely important lesson that would empower her for the rest of her life.
She learned that very day, how to find the strength within herself to stand up for herself on many levels. She learned how to set  boundaries so that others couldn't take advantage of her or push her around. She learned how to verbally speak her truth, voice her feelings, and it helped her with her ability to communicate. It helped her self-esteem and strengthened her spirit knowing she could take care of herself and that she was worth it.

I would never suggest that someone handle bullying this way, but the outcome for this gal was a powerful one and I know she had more guts than I did at her age.

Bullying  is cruel, it's a crime and it is cowardice.  Please report any situation where one is being bullied to parents, authorities and to the school or the school district if the school will not deal with the situation accordingly.

I would love to hear your feedback or any experiences that any of you have encountered.

Why do our lives have to be perfect in order to achieve our desires and our goals?

I do this myself and I hear from others, "oh, when I get my life in order" or  "when I take care of this obstacle" or  "when I retire"  THEN!  I can go back to school, then I can start going to the gym,  then I can follow my dream as a musician, a writer, etc.
For me, my house and my desk had to be organized before I could sit down and write, as if the creative juices only flow when my house and desk are clean. Yes, I must say it does help to feel good about our environment, and our surroundings can help us to settle into our new goal, help us get into that "right mindset",  But we don't need to create that perfect situation as we think we do. It's more a matter of allowing ourselves to feel uncomfortable and flexible as we are creating a new way of life, a new journey.
Fear speaks to us in so many forms and it all comes back to one thing, self doubt and/or low self esteem. We see life as an illusion, "I’ll be ready to do that when…”  But the truth is, there probably isn’t a really good, or prefect time to start or prepare ourselves for a new journey of self-discovery and renewal. We're usually just afraid that we can't do it, or what will it cost me, or afraid of the unknown.
Perhaps it is that change can require a new form of discipline, you to be responsible for your own needs, and the decisions that you make. As for the unknown, we have no idea, really, what the future holds for us, but we can have a sense of empowerment when we are contributing to the fulfillment of our lives and maybe even being an inspiration to others. As for what we may lose, it can only be what wasn't working for us to begin with, or what we have out grown.   I believe we just have to jump in and let the road take us were we are suppose to go.
Well, my house is still not organized, my desk looks like a tornado hit it, my hair is not done, my cat Missy is laying on my keyboard wanting my attention, yet here I am, feeling inspired and creating. I'm now off to blow dry my hair and hit the gym. I guess a little perfection won't hurt. But I'm still going to throw caution to the wind and leave my hair a little messy.

Claiming my good now

Claiming my good now!

If something is meant to be, nothing can stop it or get in the way of YOU receiving YOUR good!

I was so thrilled this morning when I got a call from a client, Christine.
She was so elated, she said,  "I GOT THE JOB!
I GOT THE JOB WITH THE CITY!"
When I first met Christine, she wasn't very happy. She's very responsibly and
a hard worker, but was unhappy with her chosen field.
She decided to take some computer classes hoping she could change her field of
work. During her readings throughout the past year there was One message that came through consistently,
"I see you working for the county or city of Los Angeles. I didn't get what department,
but felt it was a government agency.
Every session we did, here was the same message, "working for a government agency"
She was skeptical "how am I going to get in one of the government departments, it takes
forever and they have a hiring freeze.
I said "I don't know but try"
Sure enough,  3 months ago, Christine talked to a friend that works for the city of LA,
her friend  told her they were hiring. Christine emailed her resume, was one of the highest candidates for the job and
starts her new position  Jan. 2014!

Possibilities, Possibilities, Possibilities!

If we are met to have something, I don't care what it is, the Universe makes it happen.
We JUST NEED TO SHOW UP AND DO OUR PART....PERIOD!

Nothing on God's green earth can keep something away from us, if it's ours.
We have to claim it!
We have to have focus, believe and put the effort into receiving.
And it shall come!

Affirmations:

I'm Limitless in my  POSSIBILITIES!

I'm open and willing to receive my good NOW!

I claim my good NOW!

To those uncertain of direction in their life, a good affirmation to say.
I'm open and receptive to where Spirit wants to take me. I trust my journey.
and I claim my good Now!
